Practice and Meet Updates

According to Coach Kristi, here's the latest news for the Berry Hills meet:

Practice scheduled for tomorrow is still on. The Berry Hills coach does not want to swim on Friday because of potential storms (finally heard back from her today). I suggested Saturday to hold our meet. I will post when I hear something back from her.

Keep an eye on the page for more news as we get it!

Practice next week will be on Monday and Tuesday at 4:30 PM at the Chief Logan Recreational Center. On Wednesday, June 18k the Stingrays will play host to the swim team from Windmere in their first home meet of the Summer Season.

Meets at the Chief Logan Recreational Center are always a great time, and we would like to invite all the swim fans in the area to come check out just what the Stingrays can do!

Making their home at the Chief Logan Recreational Center since 2012, the Southern West Virginia Stingrays Swim Team competes in meets across the state as an affiliate of HYCAT. The sport of competitive swim is energetic, exciting, and fast-paced. Swimmers find their endurance tested not only in meets, but in practice, as well. Parents and fans are on the edge of their seats as races are often decided by tenths of a second.

Come join the excitement of competitive swim, whether it be as a swimmer, a swim parent, or just a fan, and as our team members say, SWIM LIKE A STINGRAY!
